Terms of Use
Last updated: August 9, 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of Mint, a training platform and system of record for insurance sales teams (the “Service”), operated under the Pinnacle IMO umbrella (“Mint,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, the agency and its authorized users (“you”) agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Mint provides sales training tools, activity and pipeline metrics, and a system of record for financial inventories and related customer files. Mint is a software platform. Mint is not an insurance carrier, not an insurance producer, and not an errors-and-omissions or other insurance provider. Nothing in the Service is legal, compliance, or insurance advice.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your credentials. Agency administrators are responsible for the users they invite and for the roles and permissions they assign. You must be authorized to act for the agency you register.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access another agency’s data, probing or bypassing security or tenant isolation, uploading unlawful content, or using the Service to violate any applicable law. Mint isolates each agency’s data, and any attempt to reach data outside your own agency is prohibited.
4. Customer data and your responsibilities
The Service is used to record sensitive customer information, including health details, medications, and financial information. Mint does not collect or store Social Security numbers or bank account numbers. You are the controller of the customer data you enter or connect, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for honoring your customers’ rights.
Call recording and call-recording consent are your responsibility as the controller. Where you connect a CRM such as GoHighLevel and route call data into Mint, you are responsible for obtaining any consent that applicable one-party or two-party consent laws require before recording or transcribing a call.
5. Fees
The training platform and metrics are provided at no charge. Under the planned model, you will be charged a usage-based fee only when a financial inventory is completed, billed as a token from a prepaid balance. Fees, token pricing, and any applicable taxes will be presented in the app before you incur them. You pay for real usage, not for seats. Fees incurred for completed records are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party providers, including GoHighLevel, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, and LiveKit. Your use of those integrations may be subject to their own terms. Mint is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
7. Intellectual property
Mint and its underlying software are owned by us and our licensors. The customer data and records your agency creates remain yours. You grant Mint the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that data to operate the Service for you.
8. Termination and data deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time. The deletion and return paths described here are capabilities we are building, and the CRM-uninstall path applies once the GoHighLevel integration is live. When available, if you uninstall the Mint application from your connected CRM, or close your account, we will delete or return the associated customer data in line with our Privacy Policy, subject to any retention the law requires.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Mint is a software system of record and does not guarantee sales outcomes, regulatory compliance, or the accuracy of data you enter. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to Mint in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We are finalizing this language with counsel ahead of general availability.
